Address your child's symptoms and build resilience against illnesses and chronic conditions with the first gut health program designed for families.
As a parent, you can’t shake the feeling that something deeper is causing your child’s health issues. But the existing reactive, one-size-fits-all approach to pediatric care often falls short of getting to the root cause.
Your child's gut microbes play an essential role in their immune development and overall health. As the gut matures, it gets harder to overcome imbalances, but not impossible. Testing their gut early can help you get the the root cause of symptoms and protect against infection and chronic illness later in life.

Plus:
Tiny Health was founded by Cheryl, a Mom looking to heal her baby’s microbiome after a C-Section birth. Unable to find clear, reliable answers anywhere she quickly realized that the only gut microbiome tests on the market were designed for grown-ups, not babies, leading to inaccurate results. She set out to create the first ever test to measure the microbiome health of babies during the critical first 1,000 days of life.
The traditional approach to healthcare is failing us. Tiny Health empowers parents to take charge of their children’s gut health, which is fundamental for their lifelong health.

We use shotgun metagenomics, the gold standard in microbiome research. Make informed decisions with a comprehensive list of microbes found in your sample.
Through functional profiling, we tell you what microbes are present, how much of them are there, and what they’re actually doing.
Get actionable advice tailored to your age and unique test results. Our at-home tests empower you with strain-level detail and precision science.
We are dedicated to safeguarding your personal information at every turn and we will never sell your personal information. Your data is encrypted with the highest security standards to ensure complete confidentiality.
Your samples are processed at a U.S. clinical-grade lab, held to the highest possible standards.
The microbes in your child’s gut are crucial for their immune system and overall health. Testing early gives you the power to address imbalances and get ahead of chronic conditions.
If your practitioner is open to receiving information and education about Tiny Health’s suite of stool (and vaginal) health tests, we have a practitioner program to support that. Please enter their email here and we will reach out to them.
Tiny+ Targeted includes:
If your child will be under 3 for the majority of the next year, you should select Tiny+ Targeted: Baby's Gut Conditions. If your child will be over 3 for the majority of the next year, we recommend Tiny+ Targeted: Child's Gut Conditions. However, your microbiome specialist will personalize either program to meet the specific age and needs of your child, so you really can choose either and have the same personalized experience!
Many of our members use their FSA/HSA to pay for clinical fees and tests.
However, we recommend checking with your FSA/HSA company/carrier for information on what details are required.
In case there is any additional documentation you need, feel free to reach out to us at customer support, we’re more than happy to help you with the necessary paperwork.
In short, it’s never too late to test. The sooner you have a baseline sample, the better.
Keep in mind that the gut is still developing until the age of 3 - 5 years old. Up until this point, you have an opportunity to check in on your little one’s gut health and make changes, if needed.
For older children, testing can reveal a lot about their gut health. Including levels of hidden gut inflammation, levels of bacteria that make anti-inflammatory short-chain fatty acids, microbiome diversity, and biomarkers for immune health and fiber digestion.
Even if your child’s gut has reached adult-maturity, there’s still an opportunity to influence their dietary, supplement needs, and lifestyle choices.

A microbiome test can provide useful insights on how the gut microbiome may be contributing to the symptoms you’re experiencing. Chances are, if your child is experiencing symptoms, there may be an underlying gut imbalance that is contributing to those symptoms, and understanding the gut can help to see if any imbalances are present and how they may be triggering a condition.
