Dr. Hannah Sturgeon is a passionate microbiome researcher at Tiny Health. She earned her PhD in Neuroscience from Georgia State University in Atlanta, GA, where she investigated how bacteria colonize the neonatal mouse gut at birth and influence early brain and immune development. During her doctoral studies, she completed a fellowship at the Institut Pasteur in Paris, deepening her expertise in microbiology and host–microbe interactions. At Tiny Health, Dr. Sturgeon applies her multidisciplinary background to help transform microbiome knowledge into real-world impact by critically analyzing research and contributing to the development of accessible, science-based resources for families.
