We're excited to share that Tiny Health ranked No. 208 on the 2026 Inc. 5000 list, placing fourth among the fastest-growing companies in the Biotech category. Inc. ranks companies by three-year revenue growth, and Tiny Health posted 1,624 percent to earn that spot, a stat that still feels a bit surreal to the team.
But a ranking is just a number. It’s the impact that matters most. To us, that means giving families and individuals science-backed answers and actionable insights about their gut health at every life stage, from the first 1,000 days through adulthood. The fact that more of you are finding those answers with us is what makes this recognition worth celebrating.
The road to Inc. 5000
Cheryl Sew Hoy founded Tiny Health in 2020 while watching her daughter struggle with eczema, sleep troubles, and food sensitivities after a C-section birth. Frustrated that no gut health tests existed for babies, she brought a team of scientists, clinicians, and engineers together and spent two years in R&D before launching the first comprehensive at-home Baby Gut Health Test in 2022. Helping other parents better understand and support their child's gut health during the critical 1,000-day window was just the beginning. Â
Today, the majority of our customers are adults, and we’ve become a market leader in gut and vaginal microbiome testing across the lifespan.
Cheryl’s family has been involved since day one. Her mother, Audrey, left her home in Malaysia to help fill orders from the family garage. Since 2022, she has prepared and shipped more than 110,000 test kits by hand, recruiting neighbors as volume grew. Even after Tiny Health moved most fulfillment to a partner this year, Audrey still handles the specialty kits for clinical and research partners herself.
Why this milestone matters
A growing body of research is uncovering links between the gut microbiome and chronic health conditions. Antibiotics, diet, and everyday environmental exposures can all influence the bacteria living in your gut, and those microbes play a role in everything from immune function to how your body responds to stress.
“Gut health data should be as easy to track as your sleep or heart rate. That means building tools that turn data into actions you can take today, whether you're thinking about longevity, navigating hormonal changes during menopause, or supporting your baby's developing microbiome,” said Cheryl.Â
Taking action with science-backed recommendations
Personalized microbiome insights are valuable, but they only matter if you can act on them. All of our tests (and retests) come with an Action Plan designed to help you make changes with the biggest impact.  Â
Every food, supplement, and lifestyle recommendation is chosen solely for its ability to support something specific in your results or the symptoms you've shared in your surveys.Â
Our team carefully vets our product recommendations. Each one is science-backed, unbiased, and personalized to your unique microbiome, so you can see why it was selected and how it connects to your results.Â
There's no commission behind anything Tiny Health recommends. We look for formulations backed by clinical research, and we make sure ingredients are safe and appropriate for your age and life stage, whether that's breastfeeding or perimenopause.
The research behind the momentumÂ
In biotech, evidence matters. It’s what earns the trust of customers, practitioners, and partners. Over the past year, Tiny Health published three studies that strengthen the science behind our platform.
The company's first randomized controlled trial, called Infant Restore, appeared in Pediatric Allergy and Immunology. It found that infants who received personalized microbiome intervention had 83% lower odds of developing eczema.
A second study, published in Frontiers in Microbiomes, linked early-life gut microbiome profiles to eczema and food allergies later on. A third paper, currently available as a preprint, showed that Tiny Health's proprietary pipeline performs with high precision and sensitivity when detecting microbes at every stage of life.
“This research adds to the growing evidence that personalized gut health support can make a measurable difference,” said our Chief Science Officer, Kimberley Sukhum.
A community celebration
As of summer 2026, Tiny Health is trusted by more than 150,000 people, 5,000+ practitioners, and dozens of partners, including Superpower, Resbiotic, and Mayo Clinic.
We’ve grown this far because they believe in what we’re building: a future where the microbiome is measurable, interpretable, and actionable at every stage of life, from birth through healthy aging.
That trust is also what Cheryl sees as the foundation for what comes next: a platform where microbiome data could one day help identify disease risk earlier, with prevention and treatment decisions following from there.
It’s a long runway, but recognition like this shows that the vision is resonating: giving families and individuals science-backed answers, actionable insights, and tools to track their microbiome health over time.
