Tiny+ Memberships allow you to monitor your microbiome health over time. You can spot underlying patterns, keep tabs on progress, and understand what’s working and what’s not, with multiple data points.

A one-time test, like our Adult Gut Health Test, is a solid starting point if you want to know your baseline. It costs $249 and includes one test, a Results Review session in a small-group setting, and a gut health report with a personalized Action Plan.

We offer Tiny+ Memberships for people who want proactive microbiome care. Billed annually at $399, it includes two tests, one 1:1 functional health coaching session with a dedicated microbiome specialist, and a personalized Action Plan. You also get unlimited messaging support and members-only pricing on additional tests ($169) and coaching calls ($39). Membership includes exclusive content from wellness experts to help you navigate your health, including AMAs, nutrition guidance, and deep dives on topics like eczema and perimenopause.

A single test gives you an informative snapshot of how your microbes are doing. But you can learn even more by tracking important microbiome metrics over time, like your Resilience Score and inflammation markers.

Members have peace of mind knowing they can get guidance any time something comes up in their day-to-day lives. That means support for things that pop up throughout the year like antibiotics, diet changes, or new symptoms.

Which membership should I choose?

If you’re choosing between our Tiny+ gut health memberships, select the option that best reflects the primary person you plan to test, but don’t worry about choosing the wrong one. Your gut health test kits can be used for any member of your family, regardless of age.

For example:

  • If you have one child under 3 and another over 3, you’ll receive the same membership benefits whether you choose Tiny+ Baby, Tiny+ Child, or Tiny+ Family.
  • If you purchase Tiny+ Adult but only use one test yourself, your second test can be used for your child or another family member.

Each person will receive the appropriate gut health report and recommendations based on their individual age and results. The membership categories simply help us understand who you primarily plan to support and don’t limit who can use your gut health tests.

You can always reach out to our team at hello@tinyhealth.com with Tiny+ membership questions.

What’s the best test for someone trying to conceive?

Tiny+ Prenatal membership is designed to help you thrive during this important time in your life. From trying to conceive to postpartum, you get one vaginal health test and one gut health test to support you and your baby. You can check whether you have beneficial microbes to pass on to your little one at birth, and get guidance on reducing your microbiome risk of pregnancy-related conditions like preterm labor and gestational diabetes.

What's the difference in coaching between the two?

With a single test, your Results Review happens in a small group setting alongside other Tiny Health customers. It's a great way to get your top 2-3 questions answered and hear what others are learning too.

Tiny+ Membership is different. You get dedicated support in a 1:1 coaching session with one of our microbiome specialists, focused entirely on your results and your goals, plus ongoing messaging support for the full year.

If you want more individualized guidance, membership is the better option.

What can I expect from my Tiny+ coaching session?

Your coaching session goes beyond just explaining your latest results. Your specialist reviews your current sample alongside any earlier ones, so you can see the full arc of how things shifted. Are there signs of inflammation in your gut, like an elevated Hexa-LPS index? Is your baby lacking the Bifidobacterium they need for immune development? Your microbiome specialist will walk you through the areas to focus on first and answer your questions.

“Amy was well-prepared and had not only reviewed our current sample but also prior samples to present a big picture and trajectory. While we have a couple of things to work on, I appreciate that she highlighted our improvement trajectories, as well. She answered all of my questions, and I feel confident with our action steps, as well as our next plan for retesting. Thanks, Amy!” — Stephanie

Can one Tiny+ Membership cover my whole family?

Yes, and this one surprises people. A Tiny+ Membership isn't locked to a single family member. The tests included in your membership can be used across your household, so you don't need to buy a separate plan for each person you want to test. If you have purchased a Tiny+ Baby Membership, for example, a parent or sibling can also use the tests. It's flexible enough to support everyone in your home. At the same time, test results are personalized to the family member who sampled.

Should I use my two Tiny+ tests to track myself over time, or split them between family members?

Either way works, and it depends on what you're trying to learn. Some people use both tests on themselves, one to get a baseline and the other to track their progress or check back in after life throws you a curveball.

Others use one test for themselves and the second for a partner, child, or parent. There's no wrong answer. Tiny+ membership is designed to flex around your family's needs.

Who's behind the guidance I get as a Tiny+ Member?

Everyone's path to a healthy microbiome is different. What works for you may not work for others, and vice versa. That's why our team of microbiome specialists, scientists, and medical experts is here to deliver personalized support. They work hard to make your gut and vaginal health insights easy to understand and actionable. From one-of-a-kind metrics like your Gut Resilience Score and Microbiome Summary Score to the Results PDF you can share with your practitioner, our team’s expertise shapes every aspect of your Tiny+ Membership.

I was going to buy two single tests. Would a Tiny+ Membership save me money?

Yes. Two individual tests at $249 each add up to $498, while a Tiny+ Membership with two tests included runs $399 a year. You'd also get a full year of support and members-only pricing on additional tests and consult calls, neither of which comes with single tests. If you already know you want more than one test, whether for yourself or others in your household, Tiny+ Membership is the better value.

Can I use HSA/FSA to pay for my Tiny Health test or Tiny+ Membership?

Yes. If you’d like to use your HSA/FSA funds, you have two options:

1. HSA/FSA Credit Card: We’ve partnered with TrueMed so that you may use your HSA/FSA credit card for single tests at checkout. We can only accept HSA/FSA credit cards for non-subscription products.

2. Superbill: We can provide a superbill that you may submit to your provider for reimbursement of a Tiny+ Membership. After you purchase a Tiny+ Membership with a regular credit card, email us at hello@tinyhealth.com. We’ll send you a Superbill to help you request reimbursement. Please double-check eligibility with your HSA/FSA plan before purchase.

How many kits come with a Tiny+ Family Membership?

A Tiny+ Family Membership includes two test kits per year. How you use them across your household is up to you. If you need additional tests for your family, you can take advantage of the membership discount pricing, which is currently $169.

Do I have to use both Tiny+ tests on the same person?

No. You can use the two tests for anyone in your household. Membership is designed to be flexible enough to support whatever works for your family.

Can I use Tiny+ if I only want to test once?

Yes. Your gut changes all the time, though. Seasons, travel, antibiotics, surgery, a stomach bug, and diet can all cause gut imbalances, so we recommend having a test on hand for you and those you love. For customers who enjoy data, testing removes the guesswork. And even if you don't use a second test, you still get 24/7 support and a 1-on-1 functional coaching session (a $99 value), which makes the membership worth it for many people.

Can I upgrade from a single test to a Tiny+ Membership later?

Yes. If you start with a single test and decide you want ongoing support, you can upgrade to a Tiny+ Membership later in the results portal. Membership upgrades typically include one test, a 1:1 coaching session, and 12 months of member benefits. The upgrade renews a year later at $399, when you’ll receive your next two tests and coaching session credit upon renewal. It's a great option if you're not sure yet whether you want ongoing tracking, since you can always add it once you've seen your first results.

Can I use a Tiny+ Membership for both gut and vaginal testing?

The only way to get one Adult Gut Health Test and one Vaginal Health Test through Tiny+ is to order Tiny+ Prenatal. This membership automatically comes with both of these kits.

Why does tracking my gut health over time matter?

A single test tells you where things stand today. Your second test tells you whether the changes you've made, like more fiber, better sleep, or less stress, are helping balance your microbiome. That comparison, often called longitudinal data, is the difference between guessing and knowing whether something is working.

Your updated results and Action Plan can then guide your next steps, so you keep building on what's actually helping. One of the biggest revelations for many Tiny+ members is that some of the smallest changes make the biggest difference.

“I appreciated them removing the guesswork so I'm using the correct probiotics... Looking forward to our next test to see how much progress we've made.” - Sarah

What happens between tests?

The time between tests is where the real work happens. During this period, you’ll have a chance to implement your Action Plan and work on optimizing your gut or vaginal health. And you don’t have to go it alone. Our microbiome specialists are here to support you each step of the way. We’re here to answer any new questions that arise during this timeframe.

What’s the benefit of having a test kit on hand, even without symptoms?

New routines, illness, travel — life has a way of throwing your gut off track. With Tiny+ Membership, you get support through it all. Having a kit on hand means you can get a baseline and test again if you go through a stressful stretch. You won't have to scramble to order a kit when you need it most, like when you’re prescribed antibiotics. Testing right before you start a course gives you a true baseline. Antibiotics reshape your gut fast, so a test taken after you've begun isn't a good reference point.

How soon should I retest after my first test?

Most adults wait about 3 months after making changes before retesting. That gives your gut or vaginal microbes enough time to shift in response to new habits.

For children under three, we suggest testing 3 to 4 times during the first year around key milestones, like starting solids, introducing new foods, or after a course of antibiotics.

If you're not sure when to retest, you can discuss timing during your microbiome coaching session.

“My son is 1 year free of eczema thanks to Tiny Health!!!!!! If you really follow their advice (all of them), you can really help your child to heal!!! I'm still testing my son's microbiome because I want to be ahead of everything that can come up... I highly recommend Tiny Health if your kid is dealing with any illness in general.” - Yuliana Schneider
